Seminar Held on July 2, 2025: “Utilizing AI in Specification Writing and Patent Work Strategies”

On July 2, 2025, approximately 20 people from Korean patent offices attended a seminar nearby Yuil Highest International Patent & Lawfirm titled “Utilizing Artificial Intelligence in Specification Writing and Patent Work Strategies.”

The seminar was designed to explore the integration of AI technology with patent-related tasks and featured two expert speakers.
The first presentation was delivered by Professor Sungdong Kim from Hansung University’s Department of Computer Engineering. His talk covered the history of artificial intelligence, the technological advancements leading up to generative AI, recent developments in AI technology, and real-world application cases.

Following this, Patent Attorney Hajime Shirasaka gave a lecture titled “Patent 3.0: Utilizing Generative AI in Patent Work.” He introduced his company, explained the environment surrounding generative AI in Japan, and presented concrete cases of how generative AI supports patent work and is incorporated into intellectual property strategies.
The seminar was highly regarded for sharing practical strategies and case studies on effectively applying AI technology to patent work, providing valuable insights for enhancing professional capabilities and shaping future work directions.
